Miranda Barker's comic book world is peopled by superheroes, warrior women, dastardly villains such as Lex Luther, sharklions and other animals (incl. Megalodon and Father Kerchak), female cowboys and Zara, the Jungle Princess, who is scared of heights. With these characters she tells playful humorous stories around the themes of friendship, self-respect, heroic acts (saving the world!) and the need for love.
